Welcome To The McFarland Ranches Working Ranch

After I bought this place in 1967, I built the barn to suit my needs with twenty seven 12’x12’ stalls with waterers, tack room, A-I room and a working arena. The barn is 76’ x 128’. Alongside the horse barn is a 50’ x 144’ insulated metal building that I have used as an indoor riding arena during the winters, with large doors at both ends.
I’ve used all Priefert panels and gates for most of the corrals and crowd alley, and steel pipe for an 8 stall teasing pen. I designed and built a great working chute for giving shots, worming etc.
There is enough grass pasture to run your horses and can be divided into separate pastures. The lower part of the pasture is in grass hay. I have 3 wheel lines and hand lines for irrigation with a 30hp irrigation pump. There are 62 acres of senior water rights that come with the place and there are two working wells. Last year’s taxes on the property were $1629.80 and the water assessment was $2601.04.!
